Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 6 tablespoons melted butter
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cups pecans
  • 1 box Walkers gluten free shortbread
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°
  • In a bowl, crush the shortbread then stir in 4 tablespoons of butter
  • Press the shortbread crust into a pie pan
  • Meanwhile, mix the eggs, maple syrup, 6 tablespoons melted butter, sugar, salt, and ½ cup crushed pecans
  • Pour filling over the shortbread crust
  • Top with remaining 1 cup pecans
  • Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
